SealFast
Graver Technologies' SealFast connection hardware is the most reliable element connection ever designed for precoat filter systems. Its record over more than twenty (20) years of operation is flawless. There have been no incidents of connections coming loose. No uplifts are possible, even with the turbulence of high energy air surge backwashes. With the SealFast element properly installed, resin will not enter the steam generator. Along with high reliability, SealFast is simple to install and remove, and is economical. The SealFast design also eliminates differential pressure losses associated with other connecting hardware and minimizes interference with backwash flow caused when guiderods are present.
The SealFast connection can be retrofitted into all earlier precoat septa designs. This includes the original hook and guiderod, nuclear guiderod, Ecoloc clip and other threaded designs. Graver Technologies recommends this change be made to all Powdex® and other precoat or filtration systems experiencing problems with their current element connecting hardware.
